The project involves the collapsing of Murphy and Ellison Road Roundabout into a fully signalised intersection with associated road widenings; widening Murphy Road to two lanes in each direction from Gympie Road to Butt Street including on-road bicycle facility; upgrading Murphy Road and Kittyhawk Drive Intersection; upgrading Murphy Road and Butt Street Intersection including signalisation; and installation of new car-parks in Marchant Park and 7th Brigade Park.

Works also included construction of a new road, new footpaths, landscaping and stone pitch retaining wall. Liaising with Public Utility Providers and supervising asset relocations upgrades including electricity, Gas, Telstra, Optus, NBN, water, stormwater and sewer. Working around and conducting investigations on live critical assets previously not inspected for over 90 years. Property resumptions including 7 full resumptions, 50 partial resumptions and 89 property reinstatements.

Construction of 152 Piles along Murphy Road, with a decorative precast panel retaining wall. New pocket park areas constructed with over 10000 plants installed over the project. New stormwater overflow basin constructed along the north of Marchant Park.
