NAIDOC Week Celebrations!
McIlwain is proud to be celebrating National NAIDOC Week, giving us an opportunity to honour the resilience, strengths, and achievements of Indigenous Australians while fostering understanding, respect, and a shared vision for our future.
Yesterday, the team at Cunninghams Gap came together for an Acknowledgement of Country, learnt about the dreamtime creation of Cunninghams Gap, and enjoyed a delicious lunch supplied by Indigenous owned and operated Figjam & Co.
Figjam & Co craft their meals with local ingredients sourced from seasonal bush tucker crops that are cultivated by First Nations owned and operated properties and social enterprises in Southeast Queensland.
